Course Description
This one day course in Emergency First Aid has been developed for those who are working in all industry sectors. The aim of this course is to provide these persons with a sound knowledge and understanding of First Aid procedures.
Successful delegates will receive an HSE recognised First Aid Appointed Person certificate, valid for a period of 3 years. This training meets the requirements laid down in the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

- Session 2 Responsibilities of the Appointed Person
- Session 3 Action in an Emergency
- Session 4 Primary & Secondary Assessment
- Session 5 Principals of Resuscitation
- Session 6 Airway Obstruction
- Session 7 Wounds and Bleeding
- Session 8 Written and Practical Assessment
